Like so many, Jen first came to the yoga mat because of an injury, seeking nothing more than to feel better and balance her body for running. She comes back to the mat because yoga invites her to embrace her body and mind with all its imperfections and then to look beyond them to the greater Self. Doing yoga with her child was a natural extension of her practice and Jen is delighted to be able to share developmentally appropriate poses, games, and songs with little yogis and their parents.

Jen completed her adult yoga teacher training at Willow Street Yoga in Takoma Park, MD. She did her prenatal yoga training with Janice Clarfield. Jen is certified to teach Itsy Bitsy Yoga classes for newborn babies to 4 year old children and trained with Budding Yogis, Childlight Yoga, and YoKid to offer classes to families and children of all ages. Jen is a Yoga Alliance® Registered Yoga Teacher (RTY 200) and Registered Children's Yoga Teacher (RCYT).

Jen brings a sense of joy and playfulness to her classes - both the adult and kids classes - and hopes to offer her students the sense of freedom she finds in yoga.
