Diane Levesque-Kopecki, MS, RN, is a Certified ChildLight Yoga instructor and Licensed Yoga 4 Classrooms™ Trainer.  Diane is NYS certified in Health Education K-12, Master’s prepared School Health Educator. With a background in oncology nursing and extensive studies of holistic and mind-body therapies, Diane has been immersed in the field of health and wellness for 15 years.  Her experiences led her to recognizing how important it is to begin fostering health promotion during youth, to lay the foundation early on for making positive health choices.  Diane embraced a career shift to dedicate her energies to inspiring and empowering young people to develop a healthy view of caring for their bodies and minds, for life.  She has continued to evolve with further training and inspiration into the world of sharing yoga with children, so that they might reach their full potential for happiness and well-being.  

Diane has been personally practicing yoga for many years, and has also trained in Radiant Child Yoga Levels 1-3 and YogaEd. Tools for Teachers.  She is delighted to have the opportunity to share the joys of yoga with children, and is particularly pleased to bring the Yoga 4 Classrooms™ program to the upstate region of New York.  Diane has raised two sons and resides in Schenectady, NY with her husband. She enjoys dance, travel, and being outdoors in nature.
